Claim the Future was initiated by John McDonnell MP, with the support of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung London. The project aims to ask and answer some of the questions that the pandemic has raised about the economy and society we want to live in and what future there should be for our planet and to link new thinking with campaigning and action on the ground.

Our small team has drafted policy position papers on some of the most pressing economic issues facing our society, with contributions from experts in each field. Individual papers will be released during August and September for discussion and online meetings to launch and explore ideas and plan support for actions.

In October, the various proposals will come together as an alternative economic strategy for discussion and campaigning.
